New for 2020: Fellowships in Compassion and Artificial Intelligence


New for 2020, AMS Healthcare is offering ten (10), one-year fellowships of up to $75,000 to early and mid-career academic researchers and regulated health care professionals to study and develop expertise/competence in the impact of DT/AI on compassionate care. At least two of these Fellowships will consider equity for vulnerable populations as an additional dimension of the award.

The Dalla Lana School of Public Health

We're proud to announce a new program, designed in partnership with Dalla Lana School of Public Health (DLSPH): the AMS-Fitzgerald Fellowship. It will support emerging leaders as they learn about the opportunities and challenges of AI, the importance of humanceterness, and how health systems function. It's an exceptional opportunity for up-and-coming professionals in the healthcare sector.

This competitive 2-year pilot program will launch in the fall of 2021 with a cadre of 12 talented emerging and mid-level leaders. They'll learn, practice, and apply visionary leadership skills and competencies that focus on AI and compassionate care.

This fellowship is an outstanding example of what we can accomplish through partnership. We're excited to collaborate with the DLSPH again.
