Being awarded the 2022 Fellowship in Compassion and AI was the catalyst that launched my research program on digital health equity and healthcare access for immigrants and refugees to Canada. What began as a one-year project has grown into a thriving portfolio of research with multiple funded projects, a dedicated team of emerging scholars who are deeply committed to this work, and sustained community partnerships.
