THP is currently developing a robust AI Governance process. As part of this process, ethical principles and considerations grounded in human-centered care are necessary. The aim of Rosalind’s project is threefold (which she will call THP’s AI Ethical Framework): continued refinement of THP’s REB AI Reviewer Guidance Document, a checklist for the ethical review of organizational projects and procurements, and the development of a robust set of ethical principles to help guide the AI Governance Process at THP.
Rosalind’s areas of expertise include ethics in complex continuing care, rehabilitation and palliative care, as well as in applying theoretical concepts to tangible dilemmas. Her research interests include health equity and challenges of social justice in our evolving healthcare system.
