2024 AMS-Fitzgerald Fellow

Rina Lamba has over 20 years of experience in the health sector, with diverse roles as frontline nurse, administrator of a long-term care home, manager, and currently Interim Chief Nursing Officer and Acting Director at York Region Public Health. Passionate about innovation to improve access and affordability, her perspectives have been shared through published opinion pieces. She holds a BScN from the University of Toronto and an MBA with a Graduate Diploma in Health Industry Management from the Schulich School of Business. She recently received the King Charles III Coronation Medal for mentoring youth from equity-deserving communities in the GTA.
