2026 AMS-Fitzgerald Fellow

Shez Daya is Director of the Transformation and AI Innovation Office at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI). In this role, Shez is responsible for translating strategic ambitions into coordinated execution by aligning priorities, enabling organizational change, and driving measurable outcomes. With more than 20 years of leadership experience in public sector organizations, she has led large-scale digital health and transformation programs that have advanced health system performance and innovation.  She holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Waterloo and a Master of Health Science from the University of Toronto. She is a Project Management Professional (PMP) and an Adjunct Lecturer for the Executive Master of Health Informatics program at the University of Toronto.
