Laura Desveaux

AMS Healthcare Senior Fellow

PhD, PT

AMS Fellow in Compassion and Artificial Intelligence, Laura Desveaux is the inaugural AMS Healthcare Senior Fellow. Laura will be working with AMS Healthcare to help us design this new role for the future, and to execute on the work of the new strategic plan, specifically the Leadership Institute.

Laura is the Scientific Director of the Institute for Better Health at Trillium Health Partners and the Lead for the Learning Health System Portfolio. Her career focuses on closing the gap between current performance and what science and experience tell us is possible. Her work in behavioral science tackles healthcare’s most persistent problems by examining what drives behaviors, how and why things work, and identifying how context influences success (and failure). Her core program of work focuses on studying learning health systems, the future of health leadership, and high performing organizations and teams in healthcare. This approach provides insights into how to effect change at both individual and system levels. She is also the founder and Executive Director of Women Who Lead, an organization dedicated to supporting the career advancement and leadership development of women in the health sector.
