Andrew Bond

Executive Medical Officer, Inner City Health Associates
Dr. Andrew Bond is the Executive Medical Officer at Inner City Health Associates (ICHA) and a lecturer in the Department of Family and Community Medicine at the University of Toronto. He is also the co-founder of the Canadian Network for the Health and Housing of People Experiencing Homelessness (CNH3).
With over a decade of experience providing comprehensive community and hospital care, Dr. Bond has served the Weeneebayko Area Health Authority for 10 years, supporting 5 Mushekegowuk Council First Nations in Western James Bay. His extensive practice includes emergency medicine in the Ottawa Valley, community primary care in Ottawa and Toronto, and comprehensive care in Sioux Lookout, Nunavut, and Haida Gwaii.
In 2023-24, Dr. Bond was one of the inaugural National Health Fellows at McMaster University and contributed to the Royal Society of Canada COVID policy group, focusing on interventions for unhoused communities. He also served on Ontario Health’s Expert Panel of Virtual Care, helping to develop guidelines for virtual primary care practice in Ontario. As a national leader in health systems innovation, Dr. Bond is dedicated to creating tech-enabled integrated health and social care models to improve population health equity, efficiency, and impact.
