AMS Healthcare Proudly Announces the 2025 Fellows in Compassion and Artificial Intelligence

We are delighted to welcome 11 exceptional candidates into our thriving community of practice—where compassion and innovation converge to shape the future of healthcare in Ontario and beyond. Selected by a distinguished panel of experts, these remarkable individuals will advance healthcare through visionary research, bold leadership, and a commitment to both technological excellence and the human experience.

With the support of AMS Healthcare’s growing network of 59 previous Compassion & AI Fellows and 26 AMS-Fitzgerald Fellows in AI and Human-Centred Leadership, the 2025 cohort will build collaborations that accelerate impact while developing the technical and translational skills to push the frontier of AI and human-centred design. Past Fellows describe the program as instrumental in shaping their leadership, offering a diverse, encouraging community and a shared purpose that continues to guide their work—and equipping them to contribute to system-wide digital transformation in Ontario.

“The privilege of being an AMS Fellow has had an indelible mark on the careers of those who’ve gone before,” says AMS CEO Helen Angus. “These leaders are poised to challenge conventional thinking, inspire innovation, and set a new standard for compassionate leadership in healthcare. We are proud to provide a platform where they can grow, collaborate, and make a lasting difference for all Canadians.”

Join us in celebrating these 11 trailblazers as they lead the way in reimagining healthcare.
