AMS Healthcare Announces New Podcast Series

June 9, 2021

We are announcing the launch of our new podcast series Good Tech, Compassionate Healthcare, that will explore the convergence of technology and compassion in healthcare today.

We host conversations between leading researchers, scientists, and healthcare providers as they confront the challenges in our healthcare system, especially in the face of the pandemic.

Join us as they discuss the opportunities for digital health to innovate all aspects of our healthcare system. They will share their hope for technology, and they will share some cautionary tales from the field. We hope to foster open and frank discussions about how they think we should integrate technology into the health-care system in a way that enhances – and does not diminish – compassionate care.  Because ultimately, we want these discussions to help us all advance the cause of better healthcare for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers everywhere.

The first four episodes were dropped on June 8th and include:

Episode 1: In our inaugural conversation, Morag Paton, a researcher in higher education at the University of Toronto, and physician and medical educator Ayelet Kuper discuss Compassion, Equity and Moral Courage, Reflecting on Lessons from COVID”.
