AMS Healthcare Excited to Announce our Third Cohort of AMS-Fitzgerald Fellowships in AI and Human-Centered Leadership
AMS Healthcare Welcomes Thirteen 2025 AMS Fitzgerald Fellows
AMS Healthcare is proud to welcome thirteen exceptional leaders as the 2025 AMS Fitzgerald Fellows in Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Human-Centred Leadership. Delivered in collaboration with the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, this two-year fellowship equips early- and mid-career health system leaders to navigate—and shape—the future of healthcare where AI, innovation and empathy intersect.
Reflecting on the program’s impact, AMS Fitzgerald Fellow Steven Rebellato, Vice-President & Chief Innovation Officer, Simcoe Muskoka District Health Unit, shared:
“Participation in the AMS Fitzgerald Fellowship has been pivotal to my professional growth, equipping me to contribute to system-wide digital transformation in Ontario.”
As healthcare continues to evolve, these thirteen Fellows join a growing AMS Healthcare Community sparking new collaborations, challenging conventional thinking, and driving meaningful change across health systems. Their work will help ensure that AI and digital innovation enhance—rather than replace—the human connections at the heart of compassionate care.
