Laura Desveaux

Laura Desveaux is a Senior Fellow of AMS Healthcare and a scientist leading work on learning health systems and healthcare leadership. She is Lead of the Learning Health System Leadership Center at the Institute for Better Health at Trillium Health Partners and an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation at the University of Toronto. Her research focuses on how healthcare organizations learn, adapt, and innovate, with a particular interest in leadership development and the conditions that enable successful system transformation.

Paula Rowland

Paula Rowland is a Senior Fellow of AMS Healthcare and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy at the University of Toronto, with a cross-appointment to the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation. A former occupational therapist, her research examines how moral, organizational, and technological forces shape healthcare work and patient care.

David Wiljer

David Wiljer is a Senior Fellow of AMS Healthcare and a leading voice in digital health innovation and “digital compassion.” His work explores how emerging technologies—including artificial intelligence and data-driven tools—can support more compassionate, patient-centred healthcare. Anne Dabrowski is an information scientist, AMS-Fitzgerald Fellow in AI and Human-Centred Leadership, and Lead of the Future of Evidence in the AI Era initiative. With a Master of Information from the University of Toronto and a decade of experience spanning acute care research and primary care knowledge translation, Anne brings a rare combination of clinical information practice and systems-level foresight thinking.
