Laura Desveaux

Senior Fellow

Laura Desveaux, PhD, is a scientist and the Lead for the Learning Health System Leadership Center at the Institute for Better Health at Trillium Health Partners. She is also an Assistant Professor at the Institute of Health Policy, Management and Evaluation (IHPME) at the University of Toronto. Her program of research explores learning health systems, the future of leadership, and how context shapes success in healthcare innovation.

Laura is the founder and Executive Director of Women Who Lead, a not-for-profit dedicated to advancing leadership development for women in the health sector. She is also a 2023–24 Leadership Fellow with the International Women’s Forum, reflecting her commitment to fostering system-wide change and building the next generation of healthcare leaders.
