“History IS the Method: Historical inquiry as a pedagogical tool for enhancing critical thinking in nursing education programs”

I seek to deepen historical scholarship and facilitate knowledge mobilization around nursing and health history through the development of a series of web-based modules or lessons that can be used in classrooms, historical and otherwise, to help cultivate critical thinking skills. I argue that fostering knowledge and confidence, both at the clinical and policy and institutional level, will develop a generation of nursing leaders intellectually ready to not only identify health problems but confidently capable to work towards solutions.
