“Engaging for Change: Coordinated Strategies for Improving Health Services for Aboriginal Peoples”

The focus of this fellowship is to better understand how to provide culturally-safe care for Aboriginal patients. The project aims to engage hospital staff in exploring their attitudes and willingness to engage in collaborative models of compassionate care for Aboriginal peoples, including developing tools to support change and creating compassionate care networks. A key outcome of the project will be the development of committees and workplace protocols to support staff in providing culturally safe care for Aboriginal peoples.
